Christmas Morning
Will did not get up until 8 on Christmas morning, I woke up early, but since he has been sick we did not want to wake him up, the more rest the better. He was so excited Santa brought a desk and Ben 10 toys that he asked for. He went straight for the presents under the tree that he had been asking to open for 3 or 4 days. He was so funny!
Worn Out!!
I will post Christmas pictures later, but I had to post this. Will has the croop (sp??), we went to the doctor on Tuesday, and she started him on steriods, just in time for Christmas. He has been a little wild. She said that he was not contagious, so we stayed busy through the holidays. The last two days we have stayed in the house and played with our new toys. Tonight Will and Scott were playing the Wii and Will was laying on the bean bag and went sound asleep. I had to take a picture, because he looked so cute. Hopefully, he will sleep all night.

Pilgrim or Indian
Will's preschool is having Thanksgiving and the kids dress up as Indians or Pilgrims. So, I just knew that Will would want to be an Indian, so I have been researching how to make a cute costume. Well, today we were at Wal-Mart and I was looking for a shirt, and Will informed me that he was being a Cool Pilgrim. Cool Pilgrim???? So I tried to tell him it would be like wearing church clothes, thinking that he would not want to, since he throws a fit almost every Sunday. Oh no, church clothes will be fine for this Pilgrim. So, if you have any ideas on how I can make him look like a pilgrim please share.

Lost Valley Farm
Will went to Lost Valley Farm last week with his preschool class. It is one of the best pumpkin patches I have been to in a while.

Fall Fun Part 2
Here is a picture of Will and McCaydyn playing in the leaves at Mom's. McCaydyn is my nephew, he stayed with us while his mommy and new brother were in the hospital. He is 3 years old, at times I felt like I had twins. He was with us from Wednesday until Sunday morning. Will was very upset when it was time for him to leave. He told me that he wanted McCaydyn to be part of our family, I told him he was but that his mommy and daddy would want him to live with them. Here is the newest member of the Sanders' Clan - Clayton Harvey Sanders. His parents are Chris and Melissa. Will went to Preschool and told them that he had a new baby brother, so when Scott picked him up they congratulated him and told him they had no idea that I was expecting. He told them his full name and that he looked just like him with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was right, he does look alot like Will.
Fall Fun
The past couple of weeks has been busy around the Sanders' household. From fall festival at church, the birth of our new nephew, and Will's field trip to the pumpkin patch. Hopefully, things will slow down a bit and I will be able to post more often. (Who I am kidding?) Anyway, here are a few catch up pictures of all of the happenings. For some reason it will not upload anymore pictures. I will try again later.
Will wanted to his face painted like a skeleton to match his shirt.
Will and McCaydyn getting for the parade to begin our Fall Festival at Church.
Will favorite booth the jail, he kept putting himself in and someone had to pay to get out, I think they made $60.00 on the booth, we probably contributed at least 30 of that.

Soccer Season Comes To An End
Will soccer season is over. Here are a couple of pictures from the last game. You would have thought the trophy was gold. He said it was awesome!

Pumpkin Time and Chopsticks
A couple of weekends ago we took Will to the Pumpkin Festival in Owensboro. He had a great time, riding rides, eating, and playing. When we left the festival we decided to eat at Shogun's, Will ate with chopsticks for the first time and it was so funny. On the way home we stopped at Trunnell's Farm to let him pick out pumpkins. He really enjoyed playing there also.
Will eating his corn on the cob sucker from Trunnell's. It really tasted like buttered corn.

Wind Damage
This morning during Sunday School the wind was howling pretty good. I live behind our church and looked out the window at my house. Everything looked fine, 10 minutes later my little cousin came running, "Misty, Will's trampoline is heading toward the cars in the parking lot." Scott, my uncle, and myself took off running. My other cousin was pulling in the parking lot and when she got out of her car, she heard it coming and she started running. She watched it finally come to a stop across the road from our church. It was in a mangled heap when Scott got over there. The wind was so strong that he and some of the other men from church decided to come in because trees and powerlines were cracking and popping. Poor Will is so sad about losing his trampoline, he got it for his birthday in June. But, it can be replaced, the only other damage was that we are missing some shingles off of the roof. Anyone else have damage?

What a Busy Week!
This week has been busy around our house. Will started preschool and soccer this week. He is going to preschool at CC First Baptist in the mornings. So far so good! He is playing soccer at Bremen. His first game was last night and it was so funny and cute. Most of the players on his team have never played before so they just run in the direction that the coach tells them to. Here are a few pictures of the first day of school and a couple from the soccer game last night and today.

Beach Bend
Last Saturday we went to Beach Bend with the church. Here are a few pictures of Will and his buddy Alex. Also in some pictures you will see Makala (Kala). Will had a great time, I had not been there since I was probably Will's age or smaller and I was impressed. One of the greatest things about the day was that we went with our church family and it is such a blessing to have friends to share the day with. We watched each others kids so that every kid there had a riding partner at some point. Here are a few pictures of Will's favorite rides.
Will and Makala riding the Tornado. I rode it once and got a little queasy.
Here are Will and Alex riding the elephants.
Will and the baby goats. Future Farmer!
On the log ride with the girls for the 5th or 6th time. I rode with him and Alex countless times, this was his favorite ride.

Back To School!
Whew!! I start back to school tomorrow and this is the first year in my eight years of teaching that I have not wanted to go back. I think maybe it is because now Will is older and we stay busy swimming and playing all summer. I am teaching first grade again this year and I love it! It is just a little tiring in the beginning. I wish that we started in September like Will's preschool. He thinks that he is starting tomorrow; however, he thinks he is going to my room with me. We shall see how well he does tomorrow when I leave for work.

Can we say Traumatic
Today Will had his 4 year Wellness visit. Everything went just fine, he passed the hearing test, did great on everything she asked, then came the 4 shots and blood work. That was a completely different story. Thankfully Scott went with me, I held his arms while one nurse held his legs for the shots, the entire time he is screaming "Please let me go home!", "I want to go home now!" " I don't like Dr. Hawkins anymore, I'm never coming back!" Well they send us to the book room to calm down, and then it is time for the blood to be drawn. This time Scott held him in his lap and I held one arm and he screamed some but not as bad until they tried to put the bandage tape around his arm, then it started all over again. Needless to say, it was a bit traumatic for him. All the way home, he kept on saying I am never going back, I don't like Dr. Hawkins. After the screams they probably are hoping we don't have to come back anytime soon. He as now been asleep for 2 hours and I am fixing to wake him up. Sorry I am rambling, it made me feel awful.

Ramblings
What a crazy week! Monday started out with me working on my classroom for a while, since we have less than 3 weeks before school starts. Tuesday was summer reading and swimming with friends. Last night as we were winding down for the night, a teen age boy wrecks in the ditch in front of our house. Today, I took Will to Madisonville Park to play while Scott went to physical therapy. It is a really nice park, and I forgot to take my camera. Tonight was church and I teach the preschool TeamKids. So needless to say I am worn out.

Swim Lessons
Will had his first swim lesson today. He is not afraid of the water so I figured this would be a good time to start lessons. A friend from work offered to work with him and she does a great job. The only problem is he doesn't want to keep his mouth closed once he is under water. He was so cute, everytime he would do something by himself he would look at me and smile and give me a thumbs up!

Happy Birthday!!!
Will turned 4 on Monday, we had his party at the park on Sunday. He had a blast and loved all of the gifts. Thanks to Uncle Chris and Uncle Lissa for the new bike. Yes, he calls my sister in law uncle instead of aunt. We have tried to correct it, but we think it is cute.
He recieved lots of neat gifts, in the last photo he wearing his new Spider Man costume and using his Web Slinger.

William Anthony "Will"
Since I am new at blogging I thought I would introduce you to my little man Will. He is going to be 4 on June 30th. Whew, time sure flys. He is your typical little boy, he loves playing outside, riding his 4 wheeler, and he is now crazy about Spider Man and Hulk. He will start pre-school this fall at C.C. First Baptist. As you can tell from the picture he is quite the ham.

Hello blog world!
I read several blogs daily and I figured I would give it a try. I have enjoyed reading blogs of people that I attended elementary and high school with. It is a good way to keep in touch with people. If you have any suggestions for my page please let me know.
