O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

I love this time of year. I thought I would share my trees with you.
Tree on the front porch. (Only decoration left outside thanks to my dog, who had 6 light bulbs.)
Tree in my kitchen. One of my favorites.

Big Tree! Have added several new ornaments since taking this picture.

Duck Tree in Will's Bathroom.

Tree in Will's Room, he decorated it himself. Had to have a North Carolina Blue tree.

You Know Your'e a Mother when....

I saw this on another blog and couldn't resist not posting.

You know you're a mother when...

You Know You're a Mother When ...
-You count the sprinkles on each kid's cupcake to make sure they're equal.
-You have time to shave only one leg at a time.
-You hide in the bathroom to be alone.
-Your kid throws-up and you catch it.
-Someone else's kid throws up at a party. You keep eating.
-As you cling to the high moral ground on toy weapons; your child chews his toast into the shape of a gun.
-You hope ketchup is a vegetable, since it's the only one your child eats.
-You find yourself cutting your husband's sandwiches into cute shapes.
-You hear your mother's voice coming out of your mouth when you say, "NOT in your good clothes!"
-You stop criticizing the way your mother raised you.
-You donate to charities in the hope that your child won't get that disease.
-You hire a sitter because you haven't been out with your husband in ages, then spend half the night checking on the kids.
-You use your own saliva to clean your child's face.-You say at least once a day, "I'm not cut out for this job", but you know you wouldn't trade it for anything.

Wedding Pictures

Will was in my cousin Justin's wedding this past weekend. He did really good, considering it was outside and he had been in his tux for 2 hours prior to the ceremony. A few times my cousin Logan had to tell him to quit swinging the pillow but other than that he did fine. He thought he was something because he was dressed like the big boys.

Flip Flop Exchange

If you are interested in participating in a flip flop exchange please email your address at mistysanders@dctonline.net.

What you do is mail a pair of flip flops to one friend of mine, then you give 6 of your willing friends the papers, with my name on top and yours on the bottom.

Thanks!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Will started t-ball and he enjoys batting and eating at the concession stand. He is not thrilled about playing outfield, but the more he plays the more he enjoys it.

Easter Part 2

Will had a great time this year at Easter. Coloring eggs, finding them, going to church, etc. At preschool they talked about the Easter story all week so both in Teamkids on Wednesday night and during Sunday School he helped the teachers with the lesson. He thought that he was something.

When I opened the Spider-Man egg coloring kit, all of the dye tablets were crushed into powder, so I had to use food coloring. Will tried opening it with his teeth, and he had it all over his mouth. Needless to say, I learned my lesson about never letting a 4 year old help with food coloring. It was everywhere. Evidently there was some on the floor that the dog licked up, because she had a green tongue.

My future golfer, everyone at church said he looked like he was ready for the PGA tour. I was shocked that he made it to the car without getting dirty. Scott thought I was nuts for buying white pants, but oh well.
